Our Story

Growing up in Byron Bay, our childhood was filled with early dawn and dusk surfs — those magical golden hours when the waves are perfect, but the sandflies and mozzies are out in full attack. With sensitive skin and allergies, I was always their favourite target, coming home covered in bites that seemed to love me as much as I loved the ocean.

Years later, when I had my daughter, I discovered the mozzies loved her even more. I wanted to protect her — and the rest of my family — without using harsh chemicals or sprays that irritated our skin.

Byronz Buzz Off Balm was born: a natural, DEET-free insect repellent made with organic ingredients that soothe, nourish, and protect.

Each tin is handcrafted with care here in Byron Bay — a blend of nature, family, and a lifetime of chasing sunsets (and swatting mozzies).
